We are looking for a IT administrator to manage and improve internal corporate IT systems while providing support onsite and remote users. This role will also be exposed to basic and advanced networking and systems administration with an opportunity to expand into a more technical role.
-Configuration of desktops and critical applications
-Perform daily maintenance and support of office IT systems
-VOIP system management
-Ensure internal systems are adequately checked and protected
-Troubleshoot malfunctioning hardware and replace parts when needed.
-Perform networking activities (cabling, switches, VPN, firewalls)
-Manage printing, file sharing and network components like DNS, DHCP
-Investigation and resolution of technical issues
-Updates to software and security/user policy maintenance
-Manage Active Directory (group policies, groups, user creation)
-The documentation of these processes and general upkeep of documentation are also vital
-Implement new applications, policies and procedures
-2+ years of experience with help desk support and networking
-Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Windows & Mac OS - must
-VMware infrastructure – an advantage
-Ability to diagnose IT/network/system issues and determine course of action
-Desire to work at a young, entrepreneurial company
-Flexibility, availability to support after-hours
-Good understanding of firewalls architecture; policies, rules, routings, VPNs
-Ability to support Wi-Fi infrastructure, Cisco controller and access points
-Knowledge of security infrastructure proxy, DLP, end user application – an advantage
-Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
